Set inside the Public House hotel in Soi Sukhumvit 31, Bangkok, SWD was conceived not only to be the dining destination, but as a creative platform where comfort food, culture, and community collide. From naming to branding, YouMakeMe built the identity from scratch, shaping everything from tone of voice and visual world to storytelling, marketing, and social presence.

Solution
Naming
SWD is a playful nod to Soi Sawatdi and Sawasdee, whilst being designed to stay open-ended, with acronym interpretations that shift.
Logo Creation
The SWD logo was designed to function like a label that is easy to adapt and built for movement. Alongside the main mark, an array of ever-evolving secondary signatures was developed.
Branding
We built a full brand ecosystem that leans into SWD’s cheeky spirit and collaborative ethos with unexpected formats and sticker-worthy one-liners to match.
Brand Voice & Storytelling
Real, irreverent, and full of dry wit, short lines, and a lot of heart. Every surface became a storytelling opportunity and built to flex across channels.

The SWD’s standalone website was created to capture attention, build trust, and make it easy for guests to dive into the SWD experience.

The full-spectrum marketing launching strategy spanned across online and offline channels, PR& and influencer outreach, content creation, photo & video direction, and venue-led activations.

The SWD attitude was carried into the social media strategy through bringing branding elements to life that includes custom-designed characters and playful AI-generated content.

SWD launched as Sukhumvit 31’s anti-boring dining club, a place for comfort food, good vibes, and creative collabs. With a brand that lives as loud as its playlist and a voice that sticks with you, SWD became more than a venue. It became a vibe.
