Our client, Ellipsis Hospitality, aims to redefine Bangkok’s food and beverage scene with its contemporary gastro-lounge, offering an experiential twist that fuses innovative South American flavours with French technique in an electrifying atmosphere.
This multi-sensory adventure is set to a backdrop of striking performances, from mesmerising live acts to soul-stirring DJ sets. COBA sought a visual identity and branding that not only reflects, but enhances this vision, ensuring that they stand out as a must-discover destination in the bustling metropolis of Bangkok.
Solution
Naming
Evoking the roots of COBA’s Latin-American influenced offerings, the name COBA was chosen—a nod to the majestic Mayan city, which sets the tone for a unique, culturally immersive experience.
Branding
The branding echoes COBA’s sensorial allure, featuring pronounced brush strokes and streamlined, stylised typography. Our typography selection is modern yet timeless at once, balancing clean elegance with a hint of femininity. Colour-wise, a lush, deep green was juxtaposed with stark blacks and whites, complementing the venue’s rainforest-inspired decor—a scheme intended to captivate and contrast.

The visual content produced is striking, leveraging the power of bold, vibrant colours and high-contrast, flash photography to grab attention.
