Galleries’ Night 2022: NOW

The YouMakeMe team is proud to announce their new collaboration with the creative team behind Galleries’ Night. Organized each year since 2013 by the French Embassy in Thailand, Galleries’ Night is now a highlight of the cultural season in Bangkok, bringing together an ever-wider audience of onlookers and art lovers over the years.

The inspiration of this event comes from “Nuit Blanche Paris” (Sleepless Night), an event dedicated to visual and contemporary art that has now achieved worldwide renown. Recreating that event, Galleries’ Night turns the City of Angels into a festive and friendly open museum.

In 2020, Galleries’ Night invited a large audience of 18,000 participants to discover more than 60 galleries over two nights.

For the 2021 edition, Galleries Night’s team commissioned YMM to come up with the event branding. It had been more than a year that art galleries in Bangkok had been physically closed and deserted, while people’s access to art was only through a screen. We were excited by the challenge of producing the visuals that would be promoting the cultural impact of galleries in Bangkok and highlighting their role during the pandemic.
